Commissioner Responses
Under the Police Act 1996 (as amended) there is a requirement for the Commissioner to comment on Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) reports, send their comments to the Home Secretary and to publish their response within 30 working days of publication.
In order to be transparent, on this page we will publish the HMICFRS responses to national and local matters where the Commissioner has made a formal response.
